Soulscapes is a merged word combining “Soul” and “Landscapes.” Together, it symbolizes the exploration of the emotional and reflective landscapes of the human soul. In this section, I am simply sharing what I have learned along the way – everything from everyday experiences to life’s pivotal moments – and how they have shaped me so far.
Ever wake up, stare at the ceiling, and think, “Today, I am totally okay if the Universe decides to blow my mind?” Yeah, that’s basically me now! Let me share something about a new habit I recently acquired through mindfulness and the mindset of “you attract what you are.” I am still learning to practice it every day, but I feel like I am almost there.
Every morning when I wake up, I pray to the Universe. I ask it to show me something unexpected, something beautiful; to let me experience something new...or maybe something my tiny mind can’t comprehend... but I need that experience in order to expand my perception of the world, to see it through wider lenses that I wouldn’t be able to perceive if I had been seeing it through the eyes of a normal person.

Honestly, what I have realized is that something small, yet beautiful, always seems to happen. It might not be those big “aha – mouth-stays-wide-open” moments, but it’s always enough to brighten my day somehow!
For example, I once planned something so rigidly but ended up being redirected to something even better, and I thanked God for it. Sometimes, I got to witness just how much beauty Mother Nature has to offer - unexpected double rainbows, vibrant sunsets, and glorious sunrises. In one instance, the sunrise even came with a rainbow, literally stopping me in my tracks and making me forget my dukh-dard-peeda (sorrow/pain) for a while, because I was so absorbed in what the Universe had presented. Suddenly, all my worries felt small compared to that experience. And sometimes, the people around me brightened my day in equally unexpected ways. And I have been nothing but grateful for that!
This experiment is not magical. In fact, I have learned that by doing this, I am subconsciously training my mind and heart to recognize those small, beautiful moments and embrace their joy, instead of waiting for some grand event to feel that sense of wonder.

And truth be told, those small moments bring me a more steady sense of peace and contentment than the big ones do. Big moments feel like a roller coaster of emotions: one minute you are riding high above the clouds, and the next, it all comes crashing down. So the big difference here is that big “aha” moments and happiest realizations aren’t constant. But a peaceful day made by a few tiny joyful moments? That’s constant - because you consciously ask for it from the Universe, and it prepares you to notice those small (sometimes chaotic, but totally worth it) experiences. And that, my friends, is a treasure to me…!!!
P.S. Universe, I am still waiting for that epic Bollywood dream scene!😉 In the meantime, I’ll cherish these little, day-making moments.❤️
